When I booked my dive trip to Con Dao, I was picturing beautiful reefs. And I found them. But I saw something on the Amadive itinerary: **Diving a Sunken Wreck**. My heart leaped. This wasn't just a typical dive; this was exploration into the past.

I'll admit, I felt a little apprehensive. Wreck diving requires extra care. But the team at **Amadive** was absolutely professional. The PADI guides provided an excellent briefing. We discussed our safety procedures, the history of the wreck, and what we would see. Being in a small group instantly made me feel safe.

Descending was unforgettable. At first, it was just a dark shape in the distance, and then the ship appeared. It is enormous. It's now a bustling new home, draped in corals and swarming with fish. I spotted big groupers peeking from the cargo hold, and schools of fusiliers hiding in the cracks. That feeling of swimming alongside this silent, ghostly vessel was hard to website describe—haunting, beautiful, and humbling all at once. It's a time capsule under the water.

For any an Open Water diver (or higher) coming to Con Dao and seeking something more the standard reef, I cannot recommend this **Con Dao wreck dive** highly enough.
